A great article in today’s Taipei Times shares the story of Kuo Chin-chuan (郭錦駩), a Taiwanese man who is riding around Taiwan on a bike for 20 days. While that’s not particularly exciting news, what makes the story so interesting is the Kuo’s bike has a traditional hand-crafted rickshaw, and Kuo’s wife You Chia-ling (游佳鈴) will accompany him on the trip! The article mentions that the rickshaw weighs over 150kg empty, with a total weight rising close to 300kg once Kuo and his passenger are on board. No wonder the trip around Taiwan will take 20 days

Kuo has dedicated the trip to his wife, with a sign hung on the back of the rickshaw reading “The Love Your Wife Movement” (愛老婆運動). Good work Kuo, we wish you good luck for a safe trip!
